New to the United States Mint’s product lineup today, April 17, 2012, is the Chaco Culture National Historical Park Quarters Three Coin Set. With a price tag of $9.95, the set is $5 cheaper than past 2010- and 2011-dated releases, having benefited from United States Mint cost savings that have been applied to several America the Beautiful Quarter and Presidential $1 Coin products which get released annually.

The final numismatic set from the United States Mint featuring Chickasaw quarters has finally hit the market. On Tuesday, December 20, 2011, the U.S. Mint launched the Chickasaw National Recreation Area Quarters Three Coin Set for $14.95.

Being the tenth issue in the America the Beautiful Quarters® series and the fifth for 2011, the three coin set was preceded by national park quarters in 2010 for Hot Springs, Yellowstone, Yosemite, Grand Canyon, and Mount Hood and in 2011 by Gettysburg, Glacier, Olympic, and Vicksburg. The Chickasaw quarter entered circulation on November 14, 2011 and started being sold by the United States Mint in bags and rolls the same day.
Finding two quality uncirculated strikes is less expensive via the Chickasaw National Recreation Area Quarters Three Coin Set. The quarter dollars could also be pulled out of the 2011 Mint Set which includes collector versions of all the 2011-dated coins, but that sets costs $31.95. The United States Mint released the 2011 America the Beautiful Quarters Circulating Coin Set representing the five national park and site quarters released in 2011. The set went on sale at Noon (Eastern) on November 29, 2011 for $9.95, plus the Mint’s standard shipping and handling charge of $4.95 per order.
The 2011 America the Beautiful Quarters Circulating Coin Set includes all the site and national park quarters released this year.
Coins included in the set honor five different sites from around the United States, including Gettysburg National Military Park of Pennsylvania, Glacier National Park of Montana, Olympic National Park of Washington, Vicksburg National Military Park of Mississippi and Chickasaw National Recreation Area of Oklahoma. Each site is represented in the set by two different quarter dollars, one struck at the U.S. Mint’s facility in Denver and one struck at the U.S. Mint’s facility in Philadelphia. Featuring the Gettysburg quarter that was released into circulation on January 24 and sold by the United States Mint in bags and rolls starting on January 27, the Gettysburg National Military Park Quarter Three-Coin Set offers one proof strike and two uncirculated strikes.
