Rolls and bags of Kisatchie National Forest Quarters for Louisiana went on sale April 20, 2015

Available in various quantities and from different production locations, these 25-cent pieces are struck in circulating quality — the same quality as quarters found in change every day.

Reverse or tails side of the quarters offer a design emblematic of Kisatchie National Forest in Louisiana. They are the second of the five quarters for 2015, and the 27th released in the U.S. Mint’s America the Beautiful Quarters® Program.

Product options with Kisatchie quarters include single rolls, two-roll sets, three-roll sets and 100-coin bags. All hold quarter-dollars from one of three different coin production facilities — the U.S. Mint’s in San Francisco, Denver or Philadelphia.

Production facilities in Denver and Philadelphia are tasked with making all U.S. circulating coins. As such, quarters from these two locations will eventually find their way into change. Quarters from San Francisco, however, are only made for coin collectors. They will not be found in change.

  • three rolls of 40 quarters each with one from San Francisco, one from Philadelphia and one from Denver for $46.95; and
  • 100-coin bags with buyer’s choice of minting facility for $34.95.
