2011 Glacier National Park Quarter Rolls and Bags
On Monday, April 4, 2011 at 12 noon Eastern Time, the United States Mint will begin selling 100-coin bags and two-roll sets of the 2011 Glacier National Park Quarter. For collectors, rolls and bags of new quarters are fairly popular not only because the coins are part of a series, but also because they offer a first chance to receive and look at new coins long before they make their way into every day circulation.

If the previous 2011 new quarter opening sales numbers are an indicator, then around 6,000 bags and 20,000 two-roll sets of Glacier’s quarters could sell during their first week of availability. Read more
2011 Quarters Set Includes 90% Silver Proof National Park Quarters
The United States Mint on Friday, April 1, will make available the 2011 America the Beautiful Quarters Silver Proof Set for $41.95.
The sets contains 90% silver versions of this year’s National Park Quarters. These coins are struck in collector proof qualities and minted at the United States Mint facility in San Francisco. As such, each quarter bears an "S" mint mark. Read more
Glacier and Olympic National Park Quarter Launch Ceremonies Scheduled
The United States Mint has announced official launch ceremony details for the next two coins in the America the Beautiful Quarters® Program– the Glacier National Park Quarter honoring the site in Montana and the Olympic National Park Quarter honoring the site in Washington.
These two quarter are but two of the five scheduled to be released by the US Mint this year under the program which debuted just last year. The series features reverse designs emblematic of selected sites of national interest from around the United States and its territories. Coins in the program are scheduled for release at a rate of five per year until completed in 2021. Read more
2011 Quarters Proof Set Sales Debut
Coin collectors grabbed a substantial amount of newly released 2011 America the Beautiful Quarters Proof Sets, according to sales figures released by the United States Mint this week.
The 2011 Quarters Proof Set sales debut was 53,944, although that was lower than last year’s issue which totaled 75,558 over the same amount of days. The debuting sales totals cover a period of time between their release on a Thursday to the following Sunday. In the case of the 2011 America the Beautiful Quarters Proof Set, it was released on March 17, 2011. The 2010-dated set launched on May 13, 2010. Read more
US Mint Hikes Quarters Silver Proof Set Prices
The United States Mint on Friday implemented price increases on three proof sets that include national site and national park quarters composed of 90 percent silver.
The US Mint raised their prices because silver has risen substantially in March, and it did not want to be in a position where the melt values of the coins within the sets exceeded what it was charging for them. The Mint increased the prices on two proof sets already released and on one it expects to offer at the end of this month. Read more

Gettysburg National Military Park Quarter Mintage
The United States Mint released the sixth coin of their America the Beautiful Quarters® Program in late January 2011. So far, they produced a total of 61.2 million circulation strikes of the Gettysburg National Military Park Quarter.
That is a low number, but this is just a preliminary production figure, of course, since the numbers may change again before the final mintage is revealed early next year. Read more

The United States Mint on Thursday, March 3, 2011, released their America the Beautiful Quarters Three-Coin Set™ for Yosemite National Park. The coins in the Yosemite National Park Quarter Three-Coin Set are similar to the ones that went into circulation in July 2010, but they are instead struck for collectors and offered in three different qualities.

Gettysburg National Military Park Quarter Ceremony
Gettysburg, a town synonymous in many people’s minds with the American Civil War, was the site on Tuesday, January 25, 2011, for the United States Mint’s official public launch ceremony of the Gettysburg National Military Park Quarter.
The brand new quarter features the 72nd Pennsylvania Infantry Monument on the reverse side and the familiar portrait of George Washington on the obverse. It is the sixth quarter in the America the Beautiful Quarters® that started last year, and it is the first of its kind to honor a Civil War park. Read more
